The last
day for sign-ups will be June 30th. Players registering after
that date will be placed on a waiting list and called according to team
need and or availability.
All home
games will be played at Perkins Park on Perkins Ave.
in Warren.
U6, U8 and
U10 level teams will play ALL games at
Perkins Park. U12 and U15 levels will play home games at Perkins and
will travel within Trumbull County to away games.
League
play will be scheduled from Mid-August thru early October. Games
may be scheduled any day except Sunday. You will be informed of
your team's schedule.
Team
practices will begin in early August. After league play begins,
practices will be scheduled by the individual team coaches.
All
players will be provided a team shirt and game socks.
All
players will be responsible for providing their own BLACK shorts,
soccer shin guards, and soccer shoes. Baseball spikes are not permitted!
We suggest looking for these items at Dick's sporting goods, Dunham's
Sports, Wal Mart, K Mart, Target, etc.
If you
have outgrown spikes or shin guards in good condition, we have an
equipment bank to which these can be donated. If you are in need
of a used pair of spikes or guards take a look in our equipment bank.
If you
will be buying a soccer ball for your player, there are special sizes
according to age group:
U6, U8 -
size 3 U10 - size 4
U12, U15 - size 5
Players
that have participated in a high school soccer program MAY NOT participate in this league.
Players MAY NOT wear jewelry during a
game. This includes necklaces and pierced earrings for girls and
boys. This rule was adopted for all county teams and will be
strictly enforced.
